Batman: Arkham City , developed by RockSteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is a thrilling hack & slash adventure that puts you in the shoes of one of the most iconic heroes of all time: Batman. The game follows the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum , where a portion of Gotham is transformed into a massive prison to protect the other districts. Bruce Wayne, the city's benefactor, opposes this decision, which leads to a sequence of events that you must unravel.

History

The game begins with Bruce Wayne warning about the dangers of Arkham City at a press conference. Things quickly escalate when TYGER mercenaries interrupt the event, kidnapping Bruce and imprisoning him in the infamous Arkham City. You’ll take control of Batman as he tries to figure out what’s going on, facing off against iconic villains and uncovering the plans of the mysterious Hugo Strange.
